  • Account and learning data: your login details, the courses you enrol in, your progress, and the Vault resources you open.
  • Onboarding and enquiries: messages you send our administrator on WhatsApp, and messages or requests you send through our contact form, including enquiries about live classes, workshops and events.
  • Community interactions: content you share, posts, comments and messages within SPC community spaces.
  • Event participation: attendance records, feedback and information shared during workshops and events.

Information we collect automatically:

  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system and device identifiers.
  • Usage data: pages visited, time on page, links clicked and how you move around our website.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in the Cookies section below.

Our website does not currently run a payment checkout. If an individual live class or event carries a fee, our administrator will explain how it is paid, and we will keep only the payment records we need.

How We Use Your Information

  • Welcoming you: to process your registration, guide your onboarding and set up your account.
  • Service delivery: to give you access to our free courses, Vault resources, community spaces and, where you take part, events and workshops.
  • Communication: to send you community updates, event invitations, newsletters and important announcements, and to reply to your enquiries.
  • Community integrity: to monitor compliance with our Code of Conduct and Terms & Conditions and act where needed.
  • Improving our services: to understand how our website, courses and Vault are used so we can make them better.
  • Legal compliance: to meet our duties under applicable Nigerian data protection law.
  • Marketing: where you have consented, to tell you about new offerings, events and opportunities in the SPC community.

We never sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing. Your data is used to serve you and to keep our community safe.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers: trusted companies that help us run the platform, such as website hosting, email and messaging services. They are required to protect your data.
  • Community members: where a community feature shows member names or profiles to other members, we will tell you what is visible during onboarding.
  • Legal requirements: where the law, a court or a regulator requires us to disclose information.
  • Business transfers: in the unlikely event of a merger or sale of SPC assets, your data may transfer to the new entity, and we will tell you in advance.
  • With your consent: in any other case where you clearly agree.

Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including legal, accounting and reporting duties.

  • Active accounts: kept while your account is active, and for up to 2 years after it closes, to handle any outstanding matters or disputes.
  • Payment records: where a fee has been paid for a live session, the record is kept for the minimum period required by Nigerian financial regulations.
  • Contact enquiries: kept for up to 12 months unless a continuing relationship develops.
  • Marketing preferences: kept until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete them.
  • Members removed for conduct breaches: a record of removal may be kept to prevent re-registration where our Terms were breached.
